La Tresse

My comic-book La Tresse is out in (french) bookstores today + I have a short interview (in french) on my publisher’s website. ^^ It's the adaptation in comics form of the famous novel La Tresse (the braid) by Laetitia Colombani. Story by Lylian, art by me.

So I'm making collages since... 2013? I think? But I have never shown them before on DA, I was too shy and I thought it wouldn't interest my followers.
I started showing my mail art / journaling art on Instagram, made more elaborated collages and it was well recieved, so I decided to finally open a new folder on my DA gallery.
One of my stongest influences back then were Liz Cohn & Audrey Smith galleries here on deviantart. I even collaborated with Liz on her "Playing with a full deck" project, and never stopped making collages on playing cards since. Alas, they both have disappeared from DA (and from the Internet). I feel sad about this and I want them to know they're at the origin of my inspiration. I'll try to post more diverse things here and stay motivated.

Edit: A post on DA compare this site to Payposter a scam and phishing site: they sell nothing in reality but keep the info (and the money) of the people who write to them or make an order (and won't recieve anything). Apparently it's the same kind of site.

Thanks to my friends :iconfuriarossaandmimma: I've been informed that this site copycover.com/ is pillaging Deviantart galleries to sell phone cases. It concerns almost everyone on Deviantart, including me but also MattiasA , dick-allowatt , hogret , loish , YiiChan , Nouraii , samuelyounart and many many others, it's without end.
The site has a DMCA page but how a foreign artist is supposed to know how it works, how do you do when you have dozens of drawings stolen, fill a form for every one of them?
edit: message from TrashBambi on tumblr : you can’t even submit DMCA’s to this website as their form for it keeps giving errors, as does their general contact form, their contact email is nowhere to be found and googling them brings up nothing related.

Right, I’ve found the correct email to contact to have your art removed! I’ve emailed them myself as some of my art is on there. (i tried via their form and the general contact form but neither were working and they have no email listed so i found their service providers contact)

Here is a template you can use. Please make sure to edit it where appropriate (eg name, works involved, ect) and remember you CAN’T email them on behalf of someone else unless you have provable permission to speak on that persons behalf!

Wendigo comics second sale

The sales are reopened for the remaining stock of the Pet Wendigo comic books. This time they are in stock so no long wait, I’ll send your order within 2-5 days max after recieveing payment - except if you have ordered a doodle: it will be a little longer.
There are 20 orders for the  doodle cards available and only with the book #2. edit: cards sold out. + I only have the “mushroom” (light grey) color paper left for the cards.

Be aware that the stock for the book #1 is very low edit: book #1 sold out and I don’t know if I’ll reprint it again (or if I do, I don’t know when).
For people who don’t have paypal I opened an Etsy store, It will allow you to pay with credit card :
No closing time: the sales will stay open until everything is sold out. A free sticker will be included with each order. Happy shopping! ^^

Les ventes sont de nouveau ouvertes pour le stock restant des comics Pet Wendigo. Cette fois ils sont en stock donc pas de longue attente, j’enverrai vos commandes sous 5 jours max après réception du paiement - sauf si vous avez commandé une petite carte dédicacée, dans ce cas ce sera un peu plus long.
Il y a 20 commandes de cartes originales disponibles et seulement avec le tome 2. edit: cartes épuisées.
+ Je n’ai plus que la couleur “mushroom” (gris clair) pour le papier des cartes.

Attention: le stock pour le Tome 1 est très bas. edit: Tome 1 épuisé.  Et j’ignore si et quand je le réimprimerai.
